Abstract

European artist of Austrian origin, Gottfried Helnwein worthy of the gaze of the sociologists because of its unusual credo in art: his works sulky public opinion, shocked ordinary people, annoying skinheads, provoking vandalism. He works with the difficult publicity of the themes of brutality against children, violence in history, fascism, the Holocaust, the commercialization and sexualization of childhood, the problem of abortion, etc. Every project causes a heated debate in society, clearly exposing a large-scale plan of the author, designed for public reaction to his works.
